Aeration

Regular aerating with core aerators is a crucial part of lawn maintenance and helps keep your lawn green and healthy. The holes a core aerator makes, provides the soil with room for expansion and fertilizer absorption. It is most often performed in conjunction with seeding. Aeration allows the water direct access to the roots system and encourages deeper roots and thicker turf. As grass roots grow deeper, lawns can stay green even if they are not watered as regularly. Aeration is recommended at least once a year and more often when compaction is prevalent.
