The Legacy
The question I ask myself often is “what do I want to be remembered by when I am called to the greatest place ever.” What will be my Legacy?
Now and then, I think back and reflect of my Journey and think of all the people I have encountered.
Some I have influenced in not a very good way, while unto others I have shared the values and wisdom I have learned thus far. God has never let me go despite me walking away from him.
I am who I am today because of the many people whom have poured their love into me. God speaks through us to let others know that there is hope which can change the life of anyone.
On 8-23-16 we took our fare-well voyage in our motorhome. It was only fitting that the Airstream’s last journey was to the see the “ Boss “ which goes back many years of Hell raising times.
Always keep you dreams in front of you. Never let them go. Become a seeker not planner. Sometimes you have to look through the trees to see the sky.
Ask God to guide you in everything you do. Today is a very much different time. I have done a lot in my life, I have seen a lot in my life, so let me tell you what I want to be known for when I am gone.
- Seeking God in everything I do.
- Never forget where I came from.
- Keep God first, your wife second, as she would tell me all the time, your family third, and your friends fourth.
Who knows God’s plan for me! Sometimes the black sheep in the family can become the light that shines through the darkness.
So when I am gone there is one more thing I want to leave behind.
A generation that can change the world with just a little love and a lawn mower.
PS I am not a writer, not a poet, not an English Major, Just another Bozo on the Buss trying to make this world a little better place.
