Now that the back yard in Ridgewood NJ was graded, leveled and landscaped so that the kids could play, the adults needed a place of their own.

We brought in some good top soil and installed a small pond with decorative plantings all around it. This area not only created a quiet area for coffee and relaxing with guests but also created an area that was highly visible from the house to be enjoyed year round.

In the spring we installed seasonal color with many varieties of annuals to create a collage of many different colors. When the summer annuals began to lose their impact another change was needed.

By removing the non-blooming annuals and adding some fall mums, millet, and decorative bright red ornamental peppers the whole garden came to life one more time. Finally adding in some Halloween decorations gave this garden, beautiful fall interest.
