The back yard at this residence in Hackensack, New Jersery was non-existent. There was none. In lieu of this we installed a thermal bluestone patio with the larger stones 24 inches by 24 inches (2 ft. x 2 ft.) with 6 inches of pea gravel in between to give it a more modern look as requested by the customer. Bluestone patios add a traditional, elegant look to any outdoor living space and this one was no exception. It is a durable hardscape product that offers years of maintenance free outdoor living space. It weathers very little over time and fades even less. Thermal bluestone is a much better choice if you want a very smooth consistent and level surface.

We also installed a fire pit area surrounded by a daylily garden. The patio also contains some planting areas that have not been planted yet. A small retaining wall was also installed to gain as much level space off the patio as possible.

Come warmer weather, once planting is completed more images will be forthcoming.
