Another Cape with a whole new attitude! This house required a whole new face lift. Lawn, Shrubs and flowers too!

We started with lawn, it went. We removed the grass, roto-tilled to a depth of approximately 5 inches, amended the soil and finish raked it. We then applied sod because the hot months of July and August were approaching and we wanted the root system established by then.

We then established an entrance bed oval shaped by the driveway entrance and anchored this bed with a purple leaf plum, surrounded by a grouping of 3 miscanthus grass and clumps of annual seasonal color mixed in. Three types of hollies are placed in the bed leading towards the residence.

In the front bed we planted a cedar in the corner with hollies and arborvitae, accented again with seasonal color providing a splendid look to the residence.
